You haven’t realized it maybe, you have a sleeping volcano in your pocket. As you know, the most effective way for our portable devices to work is by having a rechargeable Li-ion or LiPo battery, fortunately these batteries are safe and very few cases of overheating and explosions have been reported.

But.. what happens when you poke a battery with a knife? This video which has gone viral shows you. Please don’t try it at home and if you get to a situation where you are going to get stabbed, don’t use a phone for protection.

Anyway, enjoy the video, perhaps after it you will reconsider sleeping with your phone under the pillow.
